The fourth edition of the Transmissible Diseases Handbook, compiled by the Infectious Diseases Working Group (IDWG) was published in February 2010

by the European Association of Zoo and Wildlife Veterinarians (EAZWV). The handbook has been distributed as CD-rom by EAZA to all its members and relevant stakeholders. Now the handbook is also available online. It shows the organisation’s awareness and responsibility regarding infectious diseases and their possible impact on animal conservation and the community at large.
