Do not for­get2013 is the year we cel­e­brate the cen­te­nary of Alfred Rus­sel Wallace’s death. He was an intre­pid explorer, bril­liant nat­u­ral­ist and remark­able intel­lec­tual, who co-​discovered the process of evo­lu­tion by nat­ural selec­tion with Charles Darwin.
